Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reasera LLC (“Reasera”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website at reasera.com (the “Site”) and, where noted, the Reasera platform. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and demo requests. Your name, work email, and message, and optionally your company and role.
• Account information. If a customer organization provisions an account for you: your name, email address, role, and the password you set (stored only as a one-way hash).

Information collected automatically

• Request data. When you submit a form or sign in, we record the IP address and browser identifier of the request, and the time. We use these to prevent abuse, such as automated submissions and password-guessing.
• Server logs. Standard web-server logs (address requested, time, status, IP address, user agent), kept for security and reliability.
• Site analytics. We measure aggregate use of the Site (pages viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type, and a few actions such as submitting the demo form) with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses or other personal identifiers, and honors your browser’s Do Not Track setting. No analytics data is shared with any third party.
• Session storage. The Site keeps your sign-in session in your browser’s local storage. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services on the Site.

Customer content

Customer organizations use the Reasera platform to store documents, records, corrections, and related content (“Customer Content”). We process Customer Content on the customer’s behalf and under the customer’s instructions, as set out in our agreement with that customer. Each customer’s content is kept in its own isolated store, is used only to provide the service to that customer, and is never used to train or improve models for anyone else. If you are an end user of a customer and have questions about content the customer holds about you, please contact that customer.

2. How we use information

• to respond to your requests and communicate with you;
• to provide, secure, and operate the Site and the platform, including authentication, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting;
• to send service messages such as invitations and password resets;
• to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
• with your consent, for any other purpose we describe at the time of collection.

Where the law of your location requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and responding to you, on the performance of a contract with you or your organization, on compliance with legal obligations, and on your consent where we ask for it.

3. How we share information

We share information only:

• with service providers that help us operate, such as cloud hosting and email delivery providers, under agreements that restrict their use of the information;
• with a customer organization, in the case of accounts it administers;
• when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Reasera, our users, or others; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Retention

We keep contact and demo requests for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business communications. Account information is kept for the life of the account and for a limited period afterwards as required for security and legal purposes. Request data and server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes. Customer Content is retained according to our agreement with the customer, and the platform supports erasure of content on the customer’s instruction.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, isolated per-customer data stores, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, or to ask us to stop contacting you, email privacy@reasera.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you use the Site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your location.

8. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. If a change is material, we will provide a more prominent notice.
